Nature based play

Play is how children learn about the world around them. It is vital for the healthy growth and development of children. Nature based play encourages children to use their imaginations and improvise with natural objects developing creativity and enjoyment. Playing in the open air stimulates all the senses using the full capacity of the brain. Being outdoors also encourages physical activities. Balance and strength are increased as children gain body awareness.

Pandora's Garden

a nature class for toddlers to stimulate and expand young inquisitive minds

“It's a good thing to learn more about nature in order to share this knowledge with children; it's even better if the adult and child learn about nature together. And it's a lot more fun." —Richard Louv, Last Child in the Woods: Saving Our Children from Nature-Deficit Disorder
